The Reason Why We Sing

When we decide to follow Jesus, we’re invited into a lifelong journey as worshippers. But what does that mean? What does “worshipping” actually look like in our believing, thinking and doing?

While singing songs on Sunday mornings is a huge part of worship, that’s not all there is to it. Worship begins with what we think, feel, and do within our relationship with God in our everyday lives. It involves ascribing worth or giving back to God the glory that already belongs to God. In this series, we’ll break down the mechanics of worship as the whole-person, life-long response of the created to their Creator. As we more deeply understand the mechanics of worship, may we also more vibrantly worship God– in our living and in our singing!
