Empire Proof Faith
The Old Testament book of Daniel teaches us many lessons. Among those is the reality that the people of God are equipped to victoriously come against every form of Empire we encounter. In this sermon series, we will ask the first 6 chapters of Daniel to help us define what the metaphor of “empire” means for us as Jesus’ followers, how to discern the difference between the acts of Empire and the acts of God’s goodness toward us, and how to move through the world with the kind of faith-in-action that cannot be shaken by the empires of this world.
