Why Serve Globally? A Conversation with Grace Shim and Brandi Sanders
Sanctuary is honored to welcome Grace Shim, Executive Minister with the Evangelical Covenant Church, and Brandi Sanders, a local trainer and practitioner, for a special presentation and conversation on the ethics of missions.
Drawing from their rich experience in serving on the mission field and equipping churches for global engagement, Grace and Brandi will guide us in exploring questions such as:
- How can churches engage in missions with humility and respect?
- What does it mean to partner with communities rather than impose on them?
- How can we ensure our mission efforts reflect both compassion and justice?
- This will be a time of learning, reflection, and dialogue for all who desire to see missions done in a way that honors God and uplifts people.
