The Next Right Thing: A Discernment Workshop

How do we make faithful decisions when the way forward isn’t clear?

This two-hour discernment workshop is designed to help participants learn how to recognize God’s leading—and their truest, God-given selves—through spiritual practices, guided reflection, and shared wisdom. Rather than focusing on quick answers or perfect certainty, this workshop invites you into a deeper way of listening.

Drawing from Christian spiritual traditions, including practices rooted in Ignatian discernment, we will explore how to notice movements of consolation and desolation, pay attention to desire, and reflect on how God meets us in real life choices. Together, we will consider how discernment is less about finding the right outcome and more about aligning our lives with God’s presence, peace, and purpose.

Through teaching, quiet reflection, and small-group conversation, participants will be guided to identify practical tools they can use when facing decisions—large or small—and learn how to take the next faithful step even when the whole path is not yet visible.

This workshop is especially suited for those navigating transition, seeking clarity, or longing to live with greater attentiveness and authenticity.
