Attached to God: A Workshop on Prayer
March 1, 2025 2:00 PM
- 6:00 PM

We are adopted children of God, but that truth is often seen as a legal contract rather than an invitation to an embrace. Why? Our attachment wounds from our first three years with our caregiver create the neural pathways through which we end up viewing other relationships, even our relationship with God.
Join us for a transformative workshop with Rev. Summer Gross, Anglican priest, spiritual director, and author of The Emmanuel Promise, as we explore secure attachment to God—a deep, abiding connection with the Father that transforms how we pray, live, and love.
Rooted in biblical truth, contemplative practices, and neuroscience, in this workshop you will:
✨ Take a test to discover your attachment style
✨ Learn how your attachment style was created and how it's still impacting your relationship with God
✨ Be positioned for healing through soaking in God's love through worship and contemplative practices
✨ Receive a practical workbook to experience God's tenderness with our daily struggles
Participants will also leave with Summer's book, The Emmanuel Promise, to discover a roadmap for greater healing.
Registration is $35 and covers the cost of all materials, Summer's book, beverages and lunch.
