Being baptized means you’ve decided to accept and follow the way of Jesus, and are ready to declare that decision publicly.
As part of our regular church family rhythm, we carve out space during the services for baptisms as an act of worship and welcoming to the Christian family. Each person can choose the baptizing pastor or family member who is a baptized believer.
Baptism is like a wedding ring in that it’s an outward symbol of an inward commitment to something bigger than oneself. But Baptism is also more than a ring because it shows we identify with Christ’s death and resurrection into new life. We believe baptism is one of the most important moments of your life.
Before scheduling a Sunday, we ask that you attend our Baptism Class taught by one of our staff. This class walks through the beliefs and practices of baptism. We also discuss logistics of the baptism celebration.
